Taurus GEO LFG 240 from Exol is formulated from ultra-high purity, Group II base oils and the latest in additive technology to lubricate high-output, 4-cycle natural gas engines operating on special gases such as landfill, Bio-digestion, mine or syngas applications.
Formulated to provide outstanding deposit, wear, base retention and nitration control, Taurus GEO LFG 240 low ash technology combats the effect of ash deposits from Siloxanes on critical engine components helping to maximise operational efficiency and output. Additionally, its enhanced base retention performance neutralises harmful acids, protecting engine components from harmful corrosive attack. It is strongly recommended for use in engines running on landfill gases.
Note: Gas engines fuelled with high levels of hydrogen sulphide and/or corrosive Organic Halides may not benefit from low ash technology. For further advice please contact us.
