Description
Ralube 940CF is an SAE 20W-40, 9 TBN diesel engine oil designed to address the EPA fuel and emission standards for 2011 and is approved for use in late model EMD and GE units operating on low- and ultra-low sulphur diesel fuels.
Ralube 940CF is designed for use in late model engines in a wide range of railroad, inland marine, and stationary engine applications. Ralube 940CF has reduced ash content relative to traditional 13- and 17- BN Railway Engine Oils.
While Ralube 940CF has a lower starting BN, field data has demonstrated that its BN retention is superior to products having higher starting BN values. Furthermore,Ralube 940CF will provide good service life in engines operating with low and ultra-low sulphur diesel fuels.
