Castrol Techniclean S 8580 is an aqueous, alkaline industrial cleaner, containing biodegradable surfactants and corrosion inhibitors. It is free of inorganic salts. Techniclean 8580 has been specifically designed to remove industrial quench oils from ferrous metals and should be used in cleaning systems that have efficient oil removal equipment such as oil skimmers. Its powerful oil rejecting properties are optimised to ensure a long bath life particularly with quench oils containing petroleum sulphonates.
