Excelcut 1657 MT from Exol is a highly refined, new generation low viscosity neat honing oil.
Excelcut 1657 MT is manufactured from highly refined paraffinic mineral oils making it pale coloured, virtually odourless and highly resistant to oxidation. Excelcut 1657 MT contains very high levels of controlled release sulphur, fatty ester additives for an ultimate surface finish, extended tool life and low chip welding tendencies, and chlorinated EP additives. It also contains special anti-mist additives for improved visibility of the work piece and healthier environmental aspects. The lower viscosity offers very low drag out losses in operation, improved penetration, fast heat dissipation from the honing zone, and excellent particulate removal rates.
Excelcut 1657 MT is suitable for all types of honing on mild, medium and high tensile steels. Using special EP additives it does not stain non-ferrous materials.
